Your Responsibilities:
- Coordination, organization and lead of the Finance & Accounting team
- Management of a team consisting of up to 4 members
- Continuous improvement of the processes
- Responsibility for general ledger, treasury / cash as well as accounts payable
- Supporting the month end closing tasks
- Preparation of statutory annual accounts under local GAAP (HGB)
- First point of contact to internal as well as external auditors, banks and other financial institutions including signature power to banks
- Participation and active collaboration in project work
What we are looking for:
- Educational background: Certified financial accountant
3-5 years of experience in a similar position as team leader - Profound experience in terms of HGB closing
- IFRS knowledge is a plus
- General knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
- Good knowledge of Sarbanes Oxly Act (SOX)
- Fluent in German and English is prerequisite
- Safe handling of MS Office and SAP FI
- High motivation and proactive attitude
- Structured and independent style of working combined with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
